Thanks to Chris for the story

In september of last year I moved to Tacony in philadelphia pa. After I first moved in everything was great. At least up into November. Thats when wierd things began happening again.

It started out as little things I would hear noises at night after I came home from work. At first I just dismissed it as my imagination and sleepiness. Then things slowly got worse.

One night after I went to bed I was awakened early in the morning. There was a wierd feeling like something was in the room with me. I flipped over in my bed to see who it was. Nobody was there,I went back to sleep. The next three or four weeks were the same routine.

Finally I got angry and asked who ever it was what they wanted. Thats when I saw it. All of a sudden there was something in my doorway. I grabbed my glasses so I could see more clearly. It was a little girl, she looked about eight or nine years old. She was dressed in a white nightgown with long black hair. She was staring at me like she didn’t understand why I was there.

Now All my life I’ve been able to see or feel strange things. Sometimes they’re scary othertimes its peaceful and other times I’ll get sick. I usually follow these instincts I figure there is a reason for them. Well this girl the feeling I got of her was one of confusion and fear. She didn’t say anything so I asked what she wanted, she turnt towards the door and vanished I turnt on the light and walked to the door. There was nothing on the door or in the hall so I went back to bed. I’ve seen her a few times since then.

Then one night I was in my room again and again the same feelings I yelled out loud asking who she was and what she wanted. I got no answer. At least not until I fell asleep again. Thats when I had the dream. In the dream I was in my house walking around upstairs I walked into the bathroom and happened to look into the mirror I saw her standing behind me dressed the same way. In the dream I heard a name the name was Ariana. Now what I want to now is could Ariana be this spirits name. If it is why was it she told me in a dream.

The following are even more Scarier :

  1. Sometimes Spirits find it easier to give us their name in a dream. When we fall asleep we’re able to let go of our Concious mind, and our Souls can actually leave our Bodies. We have to raise our vibrations to hear Spirits, and more often than not they have to lower their vibrations in order to communicate with us. The next time you see her, say Hello and ask what she wants. If you keep asking, you may find that she tells you in another dream.

I don’t think she’s there to do you any harm, but she may want you to do something in order for her to move into the light and stop haunting you. Maybe she died in that home, and is looking for something of hers.

Let us know how you get on.

  2. Hun, I’ve the same problem. I seen this young girl; about april, 06. She’s dressed in a night gown too. Only passed her lower thighs you’re able to see through her. As if she doens’t have legs. She fades in other words. I was in my bed room, trying to fall asleep but I couldn’t. Then, out of the blue, there she stood. She walked by, glanced at me, then moved down the hall. She had long black hair, as I said before, in a white night gown, and she was seven years old. Her eyes glowed coal black. And that’s the only time I’ve seen her.

  4. Ask neighbors if they know anything about the house/former occupants, and call out her name to her next time. Also leave out a pad of paper/pen and see if they write anything on it, and leave a video camera rolling with a view of the doorway all night.

  5. Beware! The little white girl you see - this is Alastea.
I’ve seen her too. many times. I already got used to her presence.
You will to when you get to know her.

She will not hurt you, but you may hurt yourself in your desire to follow her…
When communicating with her proceed with caution.

sometimes when I wake at night she’s there - sitting on my bed, waiting to talk to me. I’m not scared from her anymore, it’s just weird talking to her in the middle of the night. And when she sais what’s on her mind she stands, walks & vanishes into the air.

She is very sad & is looking for a way to be releaved. You can help her & she’ll be gone. she’ll give you hints but it will be difficult for you to understand them. When she’s talking to me she’s very obscure, uses trange words & is difficult to under stand. Sometimes you cant understand what is she talking about & why is she telling you that. but in the end all comes to its place.
She’s sometimes acting strange, but she is not dangerous. You can even become sth like friends. you can talk, she has a lot to say.
She may lure you to follow her and in that case be carefull not to hurt
yourself. this is not her aim, but is likely to happen if beeing careless.

    So, keep your eyes open.

  8. I’m pretty sure these are Faes. Not wise to listen to a Fae. I have one that haunts my dreams, I’m so glad yours is not violent.

For a couple of years now a certain type of Fae has plagued me. Most commonly reported in Japan, these creatures are known for their silent violence and their ability to arouse fear. They were once children, I’ve been told, but have died in horrible ways. Their souls were twisted and mutilated, but they were made to live in a child’s most loved and feared place: Dreams. They look like dead children most of the time (purplish skin with veins visible, white eyes with no pupils), something that makes most people fear and pity them. They have a need for revenge that they don’t understand, and it is taken out on whatever poor human they encounter. They feed off of fear, and hate the sound of laughter, which is a relatively good defense, but they give you no time to think.
For example, the one that attacked a close friend of mine:

In her dream, she was in a room of mirrors. In each mirror there was a depiction of her death, each one different. She approaches one, showing her wrists slashed, because she believes that is how she died in most of her past lives. The mirror shatters. A little boy looks up at her. He is very obviously dead, and has short black hair. Her wrists start bleeding, she wakes up to find her bed soaked with blood, and her wrists slit. She was rushed to the emergency room, and survived, but just barely.

This is the sort of thing that happens in Fae encounters most of the time, unless they take a liking to you. Either way, you are given no time to think, to reclaim your thoughts and strangle your fear. I do like being alive, but if they find something they like in you, you’re almost better off being dead. The first dream that I had about this Fae seemed like a simple nightmare to me. It wasn’t until I told a friend about it (the one that had been attacked) that I discovered that it was far from normal.

I am in the living room of a house, and there is a huge dollhouse in the middle of it. I know two things: 1, the dollhouse is haunted, and 2, it is made out of pasta. It didn’t look like pasta, but that didn’t matter. I knew the way you know these things in dreams. I start skipping around the house and sing the most ridiculous thing I can think of to make me feel better. Over and over again, “This pasta has no magic”. I got to the other side of the house and saw the little girl. She had long white straight hair with bangs, and was very obviously dead. She grabbed me by the arms and began to dance with me ( I had no control over myself) and began to sing the stupid little song I had made up to comfort me. After a few moments I felt something grab my arm just below the shoulder, and I was pulled backwards out of the dream into darkness. The girl looked at me sadly, like she was loosing a playmate. I awoke to a shadow demon, but that’s another story entirely.

The dance was, I have been informed, with purpose. The intent was to claim my soul, but luckily a Shadow Demon decided to bug me. It was a close call. The thing is, she waits until I have completely stopped thinking about her, then enters my dreams again. No protection spells or precautions will help, because they apply to the human body. I’ve even tried protecting my soul, but through dreams it is easy to hack into one’s mind and prevent this. I’ve tried everything (I even laughed at her at one point, but she came back). She won’t talk to me, all she wants to do is play.

  9. Sounds like a sweet story…

Poor girl, I wonder what her reason for being there is?

And I highly doubt it is a fae. From what I could gather from your story, Rachel, she would have already tried claiming this person’s soul.

I would research the history of the house and try to find out everything about it that I could

  10. In answer to ^, Faes are unpredictable. It is not common that the fae dance thing occurs, only when the Fae wants a new playmate. The one described in this story seems to want something, but hell if I know what.

  11. Alright, now I am really interested in these Faes…

Rachel, can you give me a link to some data on them? I looked them up on Wiki, but it only brought up Faeries

  12. Well, thats kinda creepy considering we ( my sister and i and our mum and dad) had someething similar happen!
Except we had a girl ( we don’t really know her name, she would just hang around us) with blonde hair, a red gown and a amulet round her neck.
She never really talked but my little sister, Louise, often said she would try and communicate with her, asking her for friendship, And my mother would not take notice of louise’s stories about her, until one year later when she finally saw the ghost herself, the start of many times. I (Catherinee) remember severval very scary occaisions when i saw/felt her, like when she locked me in a room, when everyone was downstairs, like when my step-dad heard the keyboard playing, when it was un plugged!

This is still going on after nearly 5 years, with the most recent visit 2 weeks ago, sunday when everyone was settled to go to sleep a massive BANG came out of nowhere, and nothing had fallen down, at least nothing heavy enough to make a sound like that.

Maybe the ghost is here because there was a graveyard up the road in 17th century times, and a funeral not long ago.
My previous neighbours have also said they saw the ghost, so we’re not the only ones!!
