Seance: October 29, 2005

This was the 2nd seance I have attended. The person who holds them is Lisa and her husband Norm. I’ve known them for a few years now. Lisa is a practicing Wiccan. We hold them in their living room where everyone gathers around a circular table. We only had six people attend this one. They were:

We start off by opening the portals so to speak. We open the circle to allow the spirits through. From now until Christmas, the vail is the thinest. That basicly means right now it’s the easiest time to make contact and the more spirits you’ll make contact with.
We got started around 9:30pm-10:00pm. Lisa rings the bell to open the circle and welcome any spirits that might be present. Lisa had lit some candles and we noticed one was melting faster then the other. It was kinda odd since all the candles were the same height and what not. We asked for a sign and that’s when the table moved for the first time. It wasn’t a big move but you could see it.
Lisa informed Crystal that she had a new spirit guide which happened to be a baby. Her mother had lost a baby and Crystal actually just found out about it a few months ago. Lisa wasn’t sure if it was a boy or girl though, that it was asexual. For some reason Lisa got out the Ouija board and we started to use that. During that time, Norm’s grandparents came through. His grandfather told Mandy that she needs to call her Grandmother soon. That her time is coming and not to wait. That made Mandy and Tony cry a little bit. He was actually a pretty funny ghost. Norm said something how he wasn’t always right and the ghost, Gil, spelt out “Yes I Am.” That made everyone laugh.
Later on someone came through who was a patient at a mental facility where my father use to work. Her name was Paula and she was 15. She was put in the hospital because she was accused of killing her baby brother when it was really her twin sister. She kept saying “Believe me” and “I’m not lying.” She ended up killing herself with a knife while she was admitted. This was recent, 2003 she told us. She was an angry spirit and actually made the Oujia needle fly off the table. I was too scared to go pick it back up so I made Lisa do it.
Throughout the night, the table moved numerous times. Not only did it move side to side, but it was actually lifted off the ground. Last time it just moved a little and maybe once it was moved hard but this time was something else. One time when it moved no one was even sitting at the table, we were all standing up. I know it freaked me out and Mandy. We heard noises too like something being pulled across the floor and someone walking around upstairs.

I have been to a seance before. Only one. It scared the crap out of me and I will never ever do one again. Maybe it was because I was only like 13 or so but still it was scary.

Seance’s are not to be entered into lightly, If your not careful you could let in something, or someone who wont want to leave, personal experiance speaking, even when you think it is a controlled situation it really isn’t. My advise, intune yourself to your surroundings, spirits are everywhere you really have no need to call them forth, when all you really have to do is listen with your soul. For those who can’t see, hear, or feel them, leave them alone.

You should do a great deal of research before just diving into a seance or using a ouija board Rosiee. E-bay does have a good selection, but just be careful when you do use a board.
